​Professional experience

Beatrice Melito practices law as avvocato at LMS Studio Legale, where she serves as a senior associate in the firm’s banking and finance law department. She is based in the Milan office.

Beatrice has gained significant experience in advising lenders (including banks and private debt funds) and borrowers (including private equity funds, real estate funds, and companies) on a wide range of banking and finance transactions, including acquisition and leverage finance, real estate finance, and corporate loans, as well as on special situations, debt restructuring and distressed debt trading. Beatrice has special expertise in the private credit field, where she regularly advises domestic and international asset managers and investors on specific investments with an Italian element (including in the form of Unitranche notes or loans, Holdco/PIK financing, Securitisation/SPV lending, or via USPP/private placement structures), on the structuring, establishment and financing of credit funds focused on the Italian market, as well as on Italian regulatory matters.

Since 2017, Beatrice has been a member of the Bocconi Alumni Association, a prestigious professional network that allows her to maintain a strong connection with Bocconi University and to interact with high-profile professionals in various sectors. Since 2024, she has also been a member of the Young Committee of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare, a leading association in the Italian real estate sector, where she has the opportunity to actively contribute to initiatives aimed at young professionals in the real estate field.

Alongside her professional activity, since the 2018/2019 academic year, she serves as an academic fellow at Bocconi University, where she supports teaching activities for the Private Law and Civil Law courses in the Law and Economics departments.

Before joining LMS Studio Legale in October 2025, Beatrice was a banking associate at the Milan office of a leading international law firm for 4 years and, prior to that, she spent almost 4 years as a trainee and associate in the banking department of a Magic Circle firm, in its Milan office.
