LMS, with a multi-jurisdictional team led by partners Fabio Labruna, Giulio Gambini and Luca Vicendone and composed of, among others, counsel Virginia Mazzotti, senior associate Michele Setaro and associate Nicolò Levati, has assisted the Bormioli Pharma Group and its managers in the change of control in favor of Gerresheimer.
The transaction, with an overall value of approximately Euro 800 million, was completed on December 10, 2024 following the sale of the Group’s holding company, Blitz LuxCo, in favor of Gerresheimer, a company listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange and specialized in solutions for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics industries.
The Bormioli Pharma Group, with production plants in Italy, France, Germany and sales offices in the United States and China, has become a reference point in the plastic and glass pharmaceutical packaging market since 2018, boasting more than 1,400 employees.
