LMS, with a team headed by the partner Francesco P. Ruggeri Laderchi and composed of the associates Elisa Malanchini and Rajvir Kaur, has assisted Automotive Cells Company Italia, the Italian subsidiary of the ACC group, joint venture of Stellantis, TotalEnergies and Mercedes-Benz, in the acquisition of a portion of Stellantis Europe’s plant located in Termoli for the purposes of building a gigafactory for the manufacturing of cells and modules for batteries for electric vehicles.
ACC’s gigafactory development plan envisages, also thanks to the support of Invitalia, the construction in Termoli over the next three years of a state-of-the-art plant with three production lines and an overall annual capacity of 40GWh, which will join the one recently inaugurated in northern France (Billy Berclau/Douvrin) and the one under construction in Germany (Kaiserlautern).
