LMS Insolvency & Restructuring department, with a team led by the partner Matteo Bascelli and composed of the partner Elena Grigò and the associate Riccardo Di Carlo, has provided legal assistance to creditor banks in the restructuring of Laterza Petroli s.r.l. – based in Santeramo in Colle (BA), active since the 1960s in the fuel trade through service stations, owner of a depot with a storage capacity of about 3,000 cubic meters, equipped with state-of-the-art automated tele-management systems -, which successfully concluded its reorganization process by settling its entire debt position towards its bank creditors.

The transaction, finalized at the end of the negotiated settlement for the resolution of the company’s crisis in the context of an innovative agreement pursuant to Article 23, paragraph 1, letter c), CCII (among the first in the Apulia region), will allow the company to operate efficiently with fuel distribution operators and other wholesalers, covering the entire supply chain, from procurement to wholesale and retail supply.
