It is with great pleasure that LMS announces that Professor Renato Nazzini, managing partner of the London office and Professor at King’s College London, has been appointed King’s Counsel (honoris causa) for his major contribution to the law of England and Wales outside the courtroom.
Renato’s practice focuses on competition law, international arbitration and construction law. He has advised on M&A cases and competition investigations in the UK, Italy and internationally and has acted as arbitrator or counsel in international arbitrations all over the world. As a scholar, he has made a major contribution to competition law, in particular private enforcement and abuse of dominance, and to arbitration and dispute resolution, publishing 10 books and more than 100 articles and book chapters as well as influential empirical reports on UK statutory adjudication and the global practice of Dispute Boards.
Renato will be sworn in at the official King’s Counsel Appointments Ceremony presided over by the Lord Chancellor on behalf of HM The King at Westminster Hall on 24th March 2025.
