Matteo Bascelli joins LMS

A team composed by Matteo Bascelli (Partner), Elena Grigò (Counsel) and Riccardo di Carlo and Gianguido Straccamore joins the law firm LMS – Studio Legale.

According to Fabio Labruna, founding partner of LMS, Matteo’s team addition to LMS is fully coherent with LMS’ growth strategy and further consolidates LMS’ positioning in the restructuring and banking & finance sectors. «We are excited that Matteo, Elena and their young colleagues have decided to join LMS. Matteo has impressed us, immediately since the beginning of our discussions, for his professional skills. Moreover, Matteo fully shares the fundamental ideas and values of our firm. Matteo’s great expertise in assisting the financial creditors (chiefly banks) in restructuring transactions is highly synergic with LMS’s activity. Matteo has developed a solid practice in the file of corporate out-of-court restructuring transactions. We are sure he will be able to further increase it taking his practice to be one of the first practices in the market sector.

According to Matteo Bascelli, “the decision to join LMS is aimed at being present in the restructuring and insolvency sector and providing a full spectrum assistance to clients: LMS represents an ideal One Stop Firm that provides a legal assistance of excellent quality in the field. Joining LMS enables us to put at the service of the clients all necessary skills to provide maximum quality legal assistance in the judicial collection, transfer and assignment of NPLs and UTPs as well as in the out-of-court compositions of crisis situations, with particular focus on turnaround to be achieved through distressed M&A transactions. LMS is able to provide to the relevant market operators (industrial as well as financial players) top-quality multidisciplinary legal services.”
